We are partnering with a large organization seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This individual will support core accounting and close activities while helping strengthen processes, controls, and financial reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting schedules.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities.
• Research account fluctuations, unusual activity, and reconciling items.
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready accounting documentation.
• Support internal controls and audit requests.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to obtain close inputs and resolve accounting issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve recurring close and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience supporting internal controls and audit requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mentality.
• Public accounting or public company experience preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
