Position Overview
We are
seeking an experienced Senior CorePoint Integration Engineer to design,
develop, implement, and support healthcare interoperability solutions. The
ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with CorePoint Integration
Engine, HL7 interface development, healthcare systems integration, and
production support within enterprise healthcare environments.
The
Engineer will work closely with healthcare application teams, business
stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver reliable and scalable
integration solutions that support critical healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement,
and maintain interfaces using CorePoint Integration Engine.
- Develop and support
integrations between EHR/EMR systems, laboratory systems, billing systems,
imaging systems, and third-party healthcare applications.
- Analyze business and
technical requirements and translate them into effective integration
solutions.
- Design and develop HL7
interfaces, message transformations, routing workflows, and data mappings.
- Build and support REST/SOAP
API integrations as required.
- Perform interface testing,
validation, deployment, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot interface
failures, data issues, and system integration problems.
- Develop SQL queries and
database scripts for analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with application
owners, healthcare analysts, vendors, and technical teams to implement
integration solutions.
- Participate in system
upgrades, interface enhancements, and migration initiatives.
- Monitor interface performance
and recommend improvements to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Document interface
specifications, workflows, technical designs, and support procedures.
- Provide technical guidance
and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in
healthcare integration, interoperability, or interface engineering.
- 3+ years of hands-on
experience with CorePoint Integration Engine.
- Strong experience developing
and supporting HL7 v2.x interfaces.
- Experience integrating
healthcare applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of
healthcare workflows and interoperability concepts.
- Experience with SQL and
relational databases.
- Experience troubleshooting
and supporting production integrations.
- Experience working with APIs,
Web Services, REST, and SOAP integrations.
- Familiarity with SDLC
processes and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication,
analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact
effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic, Cerner,
Meditech, Athenahealth, Allscripts, or similar healthcare applications.
- Exposure to FHIR, CCD/C-CDA,
and modern interoperability standards.
- Experience with cloud
platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with additional
integration engines such as Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, or
InterSystems HealthShare.
- Experience supporting
healthcare data migration or interface modernization projects.
- Knowledge of healthcare
compliance and security requirements, including HIPAA.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
