Hours: 40 hours per week, standard Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm.
FLSA status: Exempt

Salary: $46,550 Annually

Position Summary
The Evaluation and Assessment Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and using data focused and evidence-based mechanisms to assess Graduate School activities that serve UTEPs graduate students. The Evaluation and Assessment Coordinator designs and manages reports and tracking processes that advance key unit and institutional measures for student success, with a particular focus on degree completion (including time to degree), retention, and research productivity.
Evaluates the effectiveness of Graduate School student support activities by designing reports and analyzing data using DataMart, QuestionPro, COGNOS, MS Access, MS Excel, and/or other applicable statistical software.
Analyzes data, prepares graphic displays of data, and writes brief narrative summaries for other information requests or reports for the Graduate School .
Works with Assistant Dean and Director of Administration to track Graduate School internal funding mechanisms and maintain comprehensive data for all funding programs.
Collects, reviews, and manages program data and documents related to graduate student support and academic progress, including Individualized Development Plans. (IDPs), exception requests, etc.
Develops and maintains a schedule to collect, analyze, and distribute data and reports to decision makers throughout the University to help monitor and improve graduate programs.
Creates ad hoc reports as requested by Dean, Associate Dean, Assistant Dean, and other staff.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.
Complies with all State and University policies.
Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree.

Experience: Three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
