    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Onsite Integrator
    Location: Asheville, NC (primary) / Holland, MI
    Local to Asheville strongly preferred
    Onsite Requirement: With Client in Asheville - must be comfortable interfacing with the a client and being a liason between JR and client troubleshooting issues
    Contract Length: Through Dec 23- could extend
    Hours: Est. 45 55 hrs/week; occasional weekend work possible
    Bill Rate: Up to ***/hr for the right candidate
    Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen (aerospace client)
    Interview Process: Virtual, one round, 30 minutes
    Overview
    This is a customer-facing, onsite role. Candidate will typically be the only *** resource onsite most of the time, acting as a liaison between JR and the client. Strong communication skills are essential this person will sit in on open-issue discussions and need to clearly communicate between both sides.
    Important distinction: The client is looking for an integrator, not a production support tech. The team needs someone actively involved in commissioning new equipment not someone who spends all their time on production support.
    Must-Haves
    Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
    Experience with FANUC Robots
    Strong communication skills / comfortable acting as a liaison in a customer-facing role
    Experience in lieu of formal education is acceptable
    Nice-to-Have
    Experience with Ignition HMI
    Key Responsibilities
    Develop and design controls software packages using PLCs and/or HMIs
    Program robotic and controls equipment per customer specifications
    Develop operation manuals detailing equipment functionality and setup
    Review customer specifications to ensure equipment meets requirements
    Oversee startup/commissioning to ensure equipment operates per approved specs
    Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
    Review own work and colleagues' work for functionality and accuracy
    Provide timely service documentation
    Provide technical support/training to end-users at customer facility
    Maintain safe work practices on *** and customer premises
    Technical Skills Required
    Intermediate understanding of: electrical circuits, electrical panel design, pneumatic/hydraulic design, PLCs, HMIs, robot programming, VFDs, servo applications, and device communication networks (DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, Profibus)
    Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Applications (Gmail, Calendar, Docs)
    Ability to work onsite at offices or customer locations as required
    Ability to meet deadlines without compromising safety or equipment integrity
    Ability to interact professionally with customers, including under high-pressure situations
