Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controller to lead and oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions for a growing organization. This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing financial insight, operational support, and strategic guidance while ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement across financial processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
• 
  
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• 
  
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities
• 
  
• Establish, enhance, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• 
  
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and business planning
• 
  
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements
• 
  
• Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• 
  
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members
• 
  
• Drive process improvements and system optimization initiatives
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 
  
• CPA and/or Master's degree preferred
• 
  
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• 
  
• Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership experience
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• 
  
• Experience managing audits, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• 
  
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
• 
  
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• 
  
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on when needed
•
