Key Project Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline required; ability to travel approximately 25%.
• 10+ years of contracts, procurement, or supply chain experience supporting power generation, energy, construction, EPC, or oil & gas projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing competitive RFP/RFQ processes for engineering services, major equipment, materials, and contractor packages from scope development through award.
• Strong experience with EPC procurement, contract negotiation and administration, strategic sourcing, vendor management, and commercial evaluation.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Contracts & Procurement Manager to lead contracting and procurement activities for large-scale power generation projects. This position will manage the full procurement lifecycle for engineering services, major equipment, materials, and contractor packages from sourcing and competitive tendering through contract award and project execution. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Legal, and Accounting to ensure procurement activities support project cost, schedule, quality, and commercial objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end RFP/RFQ processes, including bid package development, bidder qualification, inquiries, bid leveling, commercial evaluation, negotiations, and award recommendations.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, technical requirements, and construction milestones.
• Lead preparation, negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts, purchase orders, service agreements, amendments, and change orders.
• Partner with Engineering and Construction to develop scopes of work, technical requirements, equipment specifications, and vendor requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers and contractors based on commercial, technical, schedule, quality, and risk considerations.
• Monitor long-lead equipment, material deliveries, procurement schedules, and vendor performance and proactively address potential project impacts.
• Perform cost analysis, benchmarking, and market research to support competitive pricing, sourcing decisions, and project cost estimates.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract documentation, procurement records, and vendor performance throughout project execution.

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of EPC procurement processes, contracting strategies, commercial terms, and contract administration.
• Experience sourcing major equipment, materials, engineering services, and construction contractor packages.
• Strong commercial negotiation, cost analysis, bid evaluation, and supplier management skills.
• Experience managing procurement schedules and long-lead equipment requirements for capital projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and ERP/project systems such as SAP, Oracle, Procore, Sage, or similar.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
• 10+ years of procurement, contracts, or supply chain experience in a capital project environment.
• Power generation, energy, EPC, construction, or oil & gas experience required.
• CIPS, CPSM, or similar professional certification preferred.
