Security Clearance:
Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
- Enter financial data into government approved systems for obligation and procurement such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning or Standard Procurement System.
- Conduct analysis, report financial risk, and advise the government of strategies to mitigate the impact of financial risk.
- Assist with the development and issuance of formal financial policies and directives as required.
- Ensure compliance with DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) and DoD 5000 series acquisition policies and procedures.
- Provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to improve current ad hoc or documented business rules.
- Assist in analysis of monthly burn rate analysis, trend analysis, multi-year historical performance.
Experiences:
- 8-10 years of experience in federal government contracting procurement, acquisition, or contract management.
- Demonstrated experience using AMS to support acquisition and contract management activities.
- Extensive experience processing and managing Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and procurement best practices.
- Experience reviewing and administering contract modifications, task orders, and procurement actions.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor''''s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Contract Management, Acquisition Management, or a related field.
