The Opportunity

This position works out of our Woodridge, MN location in the Structural Heart division. Structural Heart Business Mission: Why We Exist 

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease 

What You’ll Work On

  • Coordinates and leads the implementation and effectiveness of continuous improvement tools and systems in support of site goals and objectives. 
  •  Facilitates and coaches cross functional improvement events to deliver positive and measurable results for the business. 
  • Supports the continuous improvement strategy in collaboration with the Continuous Improvement Department. Coordinates with operational leadership to ensure alignment and optimal use of resources related to continuous improvement. 
  • Works with site leaders to develop long term facility plans and capacity models. 
  • Develops and trains continuous improvement methods such as value stream mapping, 5S, line balancing, standard work, and material flow 
  • to internal resources within the organization. 
  • Collaborate with management to hire and retain a diverse, highly qualified staff.  
  • Provides input for identification of department goals which align to strategic objectives, and manages the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring. 
  •  Maintains a safe and professional work environment. 
  •  Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. 

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline  

  • - 5+ years experience - 3-4 years experience with post graduate degree Preferred: - Experience leading Continous improvement events  - Experience with problem solving such as A3/DMAIC - Med Device or regulated industry  - Project management experience
