JOB TITLE: Senior Contingent Workforce Specialist
LOCATION: Foster City, CA (hybrid)
PAY RANGE: $50.00 - $60.00/hr
DURATION: 6 months



JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking to hire a Sr. Contingent Workforce Specialist to support the operations of our expanding contingent workforce program. As a candidate for this role, you will have a strong working knowledge of contingent workforce processes and best practices, along with hands-on experience managing a high volume of requisitions. This person will support the team across departments as needed, helping with spikes in workload and shifting priorities rather than being dedicated to one department.

This is a cross-functional role, so you will partner daily with finance, IT, procurement, managers, contingent workers, and supplier partners.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support the CW team across departments based on workload and program needs.

• Manage a high volume of requisitions across different departments and priorities.

• Partner with hiring managers on open reqs, including intake, candidate review, interview activity, and offers.

• Engage appropriate supplier partners in sourcing candidates for open positions and hold qualification calls between managers and supplier partners.

• Support all operations related to the contingent worker lifecycle and ensure data is maintained in all applicable systems and tools promptly and accurately.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience as an MSP Program Specialist or similar contingent workforce role, or staffing agency experience as an Account Manager/Recruiter supporting contract recruiting.

• Strong requisition management experience, including managing a high volume of open reqs at one time.

• Experience working directly with hiring managers and supplier partners throughout the recruiting process.

• Strong understanding of contingent workforce guidelines and best practices, as well as contingent workforce risk and compliance strategies.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience managing supplier partners and can demonstrate strong negotiation skills.

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and jumping in where needed.
