About the role

As a Senior Consulting Manager, Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will make an impact by leading Agile Release Train (ART) execution, facilitating SAFe ceremonies, and driving delivery excellence across cross-functional teams supporting client reporting platforms and data workflows in the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) domain for a large Asset Management client. You will be a valued member of the Client Reporting engagement team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technology teams, delivery leads, Product Management, Business Analysts, and clients.

In this role, you will

  • Serve as RTE for the Agile Release Train, facilitating PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops
  • Drive alignment between business stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery leads on Client Reporting priorities
  • Remove impediments, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery
  • Partner with Product Management and Business Analysts to translate reporting and data requirements into actionable backlogs, and provide oversight on data quality, data flows, and reporting accuracy
  • Coach teams and leadership on SAFe/Agile best practices, and track and report ART metrics (velocity, predictability, flow) to senior stakeholders

Based on this role''s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Needham, MA. What you must have to be considered

  • 8-10 years of overall experience in Banking & Financial Services (BFS), with strong exposure to Asset Management
  • Proven experience as an RTE within a SAFe Agile framework
  • Strong background in Business Analysis, particularly around Client Reporting
  • Strong data acumen, comfortable working with complex data flows, reporting logic, and data quality issues
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with experience in a consulting/client-facing delivery model

These will help you succeed

  • SAFe RTE or SPC certification
  • Prior experience with investment/asset management reporting platforms
  • Familiarity with data management and analytics practices in financial services

Salary and Other Compensation

  • The annual salary for this position is between $134,000 - $152,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
