Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant with a strong background in Tableau to join our team in Tampa. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging Tableau to deliver actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making for our clients. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau visualizations that provide insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to clients on Tableau best practices and data visualization techniques.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting.
- Stay updated on the latest Tableau features and industry trends to continuously improve service offerings.
Mandatory Skills
- Expertise in Tableau, including dashboard creation, data blending, and advanced calculations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in data analysis and visualization best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of other data visualization tools is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and visualization, with a strong focus on Tableau.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
