Description

We are seeking a Senior Consultant in the US to support our clients. This senior role blends Big 4-level audit expertise with controller-level accounting management, including accrual-based financial reporting, month/year-end close, internal controls, and direct client engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, inventory, and revenue recognition.
  • Publish accurate and timely monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Coordinate and submit required regulatory reports in collaboration with internal departments.
  • Research technical accounting issues to ensure ongoing compliance with standards.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, and annual audits.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control for all financial transactions and reporting.
  • Direct government reporting and tax filings to ensure full local, state, and federal compliance.
  • Develop and document accounting policies and internal controls to strengthen business processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of bookkeepers and accountants.
  • Execute additional controller duties to support the Company’s financial health.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a senior accountant or financial controller.
  • 10+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, particularly US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in preparing accurate financial statements.
  • Expertise in general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software, such as Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
