Description
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead project teams through planning, execution, and completion
- Develop scopes of work and manage procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and client expectations
- Facilitate coordination between design professionals, consultants, and field teams
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and cost tracking reports
- Conduct regular project meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors
- Maintain thorough project documentation and reporting
- Support business development and client relationship management
- Collaborate with Superintendents to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery
Profile
A successful Senior Project Manager should have:
- Proven experience in diverse commercial and industrial construction project management in a general contractor enviornment
- Proven success managing large scale projects preferred
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, budgeting, and trade coordination
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- OSHA certification and additional training a plus
