Bring your federal construction expertise to a mission-driven, SDVOSB contractor with real decision-making authority and meaningful impact across VA hospitals in the western U.S. This Senior Construction Project Manager opportunity is based in the Ogden/Farr West area with remote/hybrid flexibility and multi-state travel as needed to lead projects from award through closeout.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Construction Project Manager position include:
- 5+ years required; ideally 7-10+ years managing federal construction projects independently.
- Government contracting experience required; VA hospital experience strongly preferred.
- Independently manage 3-6 concurrent federal construction projects valued at approximately $1M-$7M each.
- Lead projects from award through closeout, including schedules, safety plans, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall execution.
- Serve as primary point of contact with Government Contracting Officers (CO) and CORs; maintain excellent CPARS past-performance ratings.
- Administer contracts in accordance with FAR requirements; prepare and negotiate contract modifications and Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs).
- Proficient with Procore (primary) and strong familiarity with scheduling and project documentation processes (Bluebeam useful).
- Ability to obtain required federal facility clearance; OSHA 30, CQM/QCM, and EM 385 credentials preferred or obtainable.
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
