    Description

    Experience: 12+ years, licensure preferred

    Education: Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program

    Minimum 12 years of related experience as a Senior Project Architect or Senior Technical Staff. Directly supervises technical delivery and site administration on major projects.

    Qualifications

    • Architectural licensure and sustainable design certification preferred
    • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience and at least 5 completed projects of comparable scope and scale
    • Advanced technical background in construction sequencing, contract documentation, and field execution

    Responsibilities

    • Primary contact with Owner and Contractor during construction, coordinating closely with WDG PMs and Project Architects
    • Maintain strong relationships across client, contractor, and consultant teams
    • Serve as central communication and QC hub for all construction operations
    • Manage submittals, RFIs, ASIs, supplementary sketches, and code compliance evaluations (ADA, Fair Housing, ICC A117, IBC)
    • Determine substantial completion, prepare deficiency lists, and oversee punch-list completion
    • Conduct site walks, review pay applications, author field reports, and attend progress meetings
    • Collaborate with internal leadership to resolve critical field challenges
    • Mentor staff and manage CA phase contract scope

    Skillsets

    • Ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously
    • Advanced mastery of building systems, construction technologies, contract management, and delivery methods
    • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office
    • Superior problem-solving, negotiation, and QA/QC management skills
