    Position Description:

    CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to support a high visibility federal modernization program. This senior role ensures alignment with federal compliance standards, supports policy interpretation, coordinates with legal and governance stakeholders, and serves as a liaison between program execution teams and oversight entities. The position plays a critical role in sustaining contract compliance, guiding policy adherence, and enabling informed decision making across technical, operational, and programmatic domains.

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    Compliance Oversight & Governance Alignment

    • Interpret, implement, and maintain adherence to federal compliance standards, organizational policies, security requirements, and contractual obligations.
    • Track evolving regulatory requirements and policy changes; advise leadership on impacts, risks, and mitigations.
    • Develop and maintain compliance documentation, processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms.
    • Conduct internal reviews to validate alignment with program constraints, legal requirements, and security policies.

    Policy Analysis & Advisory Support

    • Analyze federal policies, legal guidance, procedural updates, and governance directives relevant to the program.
    • Provide clear summaries, implications analyses, and actionable recommendations for contract leadership.
    • Support development of internal policy frameworks, SOPs, governance artifacts, and compliance models.
    • Ensure program activities align with federal mandates, acquisition rules, and enterprise governance structures.

    Stakeholder Liaison & Coordination

    • Serve as a liaison between program leadership, legal/governance stakeholders, security teams, and mission partners.
    • Facilitate communication across the program to resolve compliance questions, clarify policy interpretations, and mitigate risks.
    • Support coordination with COR, CO, OGC, CIO governance bodies, and mission oversight officials.
    • Prepare briefings, decision papers, responses to government inquiries, and compliance-related deliverables.

    Risk, Issue & Process Management

    • Identify compliance gaps, vulnerabilities, risks, and areas needing corrective action.
    • Support audits, assessments, reviews, and quality assurance activities.
    • Recommend process improvements to enhance compliance posture, documentation rigor, and operational consistency.
    • Track and manage compliance-related actions, deadlines, and risk mitigation plans.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Must have Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
    • U.S. Citizenship.
    • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in compliance, governance, legal liaison roles, or policy analysis for federal programs.
    • Strong understanding of federal regulations, security policies, governance frameworks, and contracting principles.
    • Experience in drafting compliance artifacts, SOPs, policy analysis, and governance documentation.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
    • Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and interface with senior government officials.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting DOJ, FBI, Intelligence Community, or other national security missions.
    • Background in federal acquisition compliance, data governance, privacy policy, security governance, or enterprise risk management.
    • Certifications such as CIPP G, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or similar compliance/policy-oriented credentials.
    • Familiarity with IT modernization, cloud governance, or classified program requirements.

    Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
