Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney

Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Location: Phoenix, Arizona. Hybrid schedule with up to two remote days per week, while maintaining regular in-office collaboration and direct client contact.

Note: Candidates must have an active Arizona Bar license, 3+ years of commercial litigation experience, and hands-on trial experience. Trial experience is a firm requirement for consideration.

Job Description

• Manage commercial and business litigation matters through key stages of the litigation lifecycle
• Develop case strategy with a practical understanding of each client's business objectives
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents
• Handle depositions, hearings, negotiations, and other contested proceedings
• Prepare cases for trial and actively participate in courtroom proceedings
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written and oral arguments
• Communicate directly with clients and clearly explain complex legal issues and strategic options
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff while independently driving assigned matters forward

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing
• 3+ years of directly relevant commercial litigation experience
• Trial experience required
• Strong legal research, writing, motion practice, and advocacy skills
• Experience with discovery, depositions, hearings, and case preparation
• Strong client communication and professional judgment
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with regular Phoenix office and client interaction
