I am partnered with a $250M CPG Manufacturer on a newly created Senior Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting directly into the CFO, the role will lead and establish the commercial finance function and build out a team of analysts.

I am partnered with a $250M CPG Manufacturer on a newly created Senior Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting directly into the CFO, the role will lead and establish the commercial finance function and build out a team of analysts.

Our client is rapidly growing through the backing of a PE firm along with their product innovation within the ready to eat and ready to serve protein sector. The organization is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercialization finance commentary, partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and supply chain to optimize profitability, and manage the trade spends for the business.

Description

  • Lead commercial finance activities that provide clear financial insight for business decisions.
  • Analyze financial results and explain key drivers of performance.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts to support commercial planning.
  • Develop financial models to assess business opportunities and scenarios.
  • Partner with commercial stakeholders to review financial performance and priorities.
  • Present clear financial information to help leaders make timely decisions.
  • Improve reporting processes to deliver accurate and useful commercial analysis.

Profile

A successful Senior Commercial Finance Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with focus in commercial finance, sales finance, marketing finance, or revenue growth management
  • Manufacturing experience required, CPG or FMCG highly preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to interact with senior leaders and cross-functional leaders

Job Offer

  • Remote role with location in Downtown Chicago and the Western Suburbs
  • Salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 + 10% bonus target
