Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location: Tempe, AZ
An established independent P&C agency is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to support a growing book of business while acting as a team lead. This role works closely with a highly involved broker, offering strong exposure to the production side while still allowing autonomy to manage accounts independently.
You will step into an existing book of approximately $750K in revenue, with a clear path to grow beyond $1M.
What You Will Do
- Manage and service a generalist commercial book with a focus on construction, associations, and property risks
- Handle renewals, marketing efforts, and direct communication with carriers
- Partner closely with a highly involved broker while maintaining ownership of accounts end to end
- Delegate tasks and provide guidance to junior team members as needed
- Support the continued growth and retention of the book of business
What They Are Looking For
- 5 to 10 years of commercial lines account management experience
- Background within an independent agency or brokerage preferred
- Experience with construction, habitational, or property driven accounts
- Ability to manage accounts independently and maintain strong carrier relationships
- Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and guide team members
- EPIC system experience preferred
