BlueWave is hiring a Senior Combustion Turbine Engineer for a utilities and power generation client with headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As a Senior Combustion Turbine Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Job Description - Act as support engineer to Principal Engineer for managing gas turbine fleet assets
- Help with troubleshooting efforts of assets and equipment in fleet
- Lead RCA to provide suggestions on how to fix or improve assets
- Lead outage planning and support efforts
- Partner closely with OEMs to resolve complex technical issues
- Travel to sites periodically, up to 30% a year maximum
- Good communication skills and presentation skills are a must
Requirements- Bachelors Degree in engineering (ABET accreditation)
- 5+ years of experience in engineering
- Must have hands-on gas turbine experience
