About The Role

Join our client’s team to spearhead the creation and optimization of advanced coating systems. This role is pivotal in enhancing manufacturing performance and ensuring product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to design, formulate, and test coating technology solutions.
  • Optimize web processing and coating application processes.
  • Provide expertise to support manufacturing activities.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate new materials and surface-treatment technologies.
  • Collaborate with R&D, quality, and suppliers to meet product requirements.
  • Develop technical documentation, specifications, and process standards.
  • Lead scale-up activities from lab to full production.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide subject-matter expertise.
  • Support or lead process development efforts in the NPI process.
  • Identify and lead technical activities for improvement projects.
  • Revise Standard Operation and Manufacturing Procedures.
  • Participate in capital requisition proposals and projects.
  • Assist with complaint investigations and resolution.
  • Lead CAPA related efforts for the technology platform.
  • Coordinate with Process Support and R&D for new technology transfer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4 years of manufacturing process experience.
  • Experience with coating process fundamentals.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with coating equipment and analytical methods.
  • Experience with web processing technologies.
  • Experience with roll-to-roll coating and extrusion processes.
