A day in the life

You arrive, review the day’s print package, and take ownership of parts from first setup to final inspection. You select fixtures and tooling, write or edit G-Code (no conversational programming), and validate your first-piece. Throughout the run, you fine-tune feeds, speeds, coolant, and offsets, document in-process checks, and collaborate with the team to troubleshoot anything that could impact quality or delivery. Before you clock out, you perform routine maintenance and note any equipment concerns so tomorrow starts just as strong.

  • Dial in machine controls: speeds, feeds, coolant, depths, and angles
  • Monitor production and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality
  • Conduct in-process and final dimensional inspections
  • Troubleshoot machining or assembly issues in partnership with your team
  • Perform routine maintenance and promptly report equipment issues
