Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Pay Range: $74.20hr - $79.20hr

Job Overview:

Services are required to work toward achieving the goals and objectives to develop and implement an Aviation Data Management System to support the management of manned and unmanned aviation data within a unified system and relational database. The successful candidate is expected to work with team staff on research, solution architecture design, delivery, and support.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements and prepare functional requirements, design documentation, and technical specification documents to develop internal information systems.
• Function as a technical consultant or researcher.
• Perform technical research and evaluation of technologies, tools, databases, and methods.
• Analyze detailed requirements and documentation.
• Program and implement solutions for business requirements.
• Contribute to project planning, organization, and implementation.
• Contribute to activity definition, activity sequencing, activity resource estimating, activity duration estimating, and WBS development.
• Contribute to risk identification, tracking, and analysis.
• Contribute to issue management and tracking.
• Manage project communications effectively among project stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities with team staff required to support the project.
• Perform other assignments related to cloud services as directed by leadership.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of IT work experience in cloud computing.
• Knowledge at an expert level implementing Internet/Intranet/Extranet services and supporting services and systems.
• Knowledge at an expert level of manned and unmanned aviation assets and associated FAA requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with business and IT staff to define requirements and recommend cloud computing solutions.
• Ability to prepare professional documentation associated with research, design decisions, estimating assumptions, performance metrics, and security requirements.
