We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to take ownership of a growing Microsoft cloud environment and help build a more secure, scalable, and resilient IT infrastructure.

This is a hands-on senior role with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, cloud security, automation, and disaster recovery

Greater Sacramento Area | In-Person

Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Own and support Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud platforms
• Lead Tier 3 troubleshooting, complex changes, and cloud improvements
• Architect and manage Entra ID, Conditional Access, identity governance, and privileged access
• Own Intune, Windows Autopilot, endpoint management, and compliance
• Lead long-term SharePoint Online governance and architecture
• Support Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Purview
• Design and maintain Microsoft 365 backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
• Evaluate and manage third-party cloud backup solutions
• Develop PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation to improve efficiency
• Partner on Microsoft Defender, Zero Trust, and security initiatives
• Mentor a Junior Cloud Engineer and help improve IT documentation and processes

Required skills and qualifications:

• 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration/engineering experience
• Strong experience with M365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Autopilot
• Experience with Azure and PowerShell automation
• Hands-on experience with cloud backup, recovery, and restore testing
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery, RPO/RTO, and recovery planning
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring skills
• Experience supporting multi-site organizations
• Manufacturing experience preferred

Nice to Have:

• Microsoft Defender, Purview, Power Platform, Copilot, or Zero Trust experience
• SharePoint governance/information architecture experience
• Experience with Veeam, Rubrik, Barracuda, Commvault, AvePoint, or similar backup platforms
• Microsoft certifications
• Dynamics 365 experience

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $140K to $160K, depending on experience.
