SENIOR CLIENT COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST - Law Firm

* $85,000-$115,000 annually, plus potential bonus
* Full-time; fully onsite during the initial 60-90-day training and integration period. Limited hybrid flexibility, typically one remote day per week, may be considered afterward based on performance, business needs, and leadership approval.

ROLE IMPACT
Own hands-on collections for high-value business client accounts within a growing professional-services environment. This senior individual-contributor role focuses on moving complex receivables toward resolution, strengthening accountability with clients and internal stakeholders, and improving cash flow. Success means quickly gaining control of priority accounts, driving consistent follow-up, and helping build scalable collection procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Own business-to-business (B2B) collection activity for high-value and high-risk accounts, including proactive outreach beginning at 30 days outstanding and follow-up throughout the collection cycle.
* Communicate directly with executives, business owners, attorneys, and other senior stakeholders regarding outstanding balances, payment commitments, billing questions, disputes, and resolution options.
* Review AR aging, account histories, collection notes, payment patterns, and stakeholder feedback to prioritize accounts and independently determine appropriate next steps.
* Partner with attorneys, billing, finance, and leadership to resolve payment barriers, escalate significantly delinquent accounts, track commitments, and improve cash flow.
* Help strengthen collection procedures, reporting practices, attorney expectations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and developing credit-risk review processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Significant hands-on B2B collections or accounts receivable experience in a law firm, professional-services firm, or similarly sophisticated business environment.
* Demonstrated success collecting high-dollar, complex, or sensitive receivables and managing AR aging, payment negotiations, collection prioritization, and escalation.
* Proven ability to communicate confidently with executives, attorneys, partners, business owners, or other senior stakeholders; influence without formal authority; and independently drive collection activity to resolution.
