If you are an autonomous "doer" who knows how to fight for every dollar on vehicle valuations and thrives in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you !

What You'll Do ?

1. End-to-End Claims Handling & TPA Partnership

Direct Claims Management: Personally handle and resolve physical and material damage claims from start to finish.

Third-Party Claims Oversight: Partner closely with our Third-Party Administrator (TPA) to manage and oversee third-party property damage and bodily injury claims, ensuring robust liability determination and defense strategies.

TPA Supervision: Serve as the daily operational point of contact for the TPA. Monitor open files, ensure strict adherence to agreed SLAs, and approve settlements within your delegated authority limits.

Investigation & Assessment: Review police reports, renter statements, photos, and estimates to determine liability, coverage applicability, and damages.

2. Total Loss Management & ACV Challenging

ACV Challenge: Critically analyze valuation reports (CCC, Audatex, etc.) for totaled or stolen vehicles. Aggressively challenge the Actual Cash Value (ACV) calculated by TPAs or carriers to ensure our fleet is compensated at true market value.

GAP Insurance: Manage the documentation, filing, and resolution of all GAP insurance claims to secure seamless financial recovery following primary ACV payouts.

3. Collections & Subrogation (Renters Recovery)

Payment Recovery: Actively pursue and collect deductibles, repair costs, and third-party damages directly from renters or their personal insurance providers based on their specific protection plans.

Payment Plans: Establish, track, and enforce recovery payment plans with renters when immediate full payment is not possible.

Dispute Resolution: Handle renter escalations regarding damage charges and billing disputes with firmness, fairness, and professionalism.

4. Program Compliance & Reporting

Reporting & Alignment: Keep the Global Head of Insurance continuously informed of high-severity claims, ACV negotiation wins, and operational bottlenecks.

Fronting Carrier Liaison: Ensure all claims processes strictly align with our Insurer's compliance guidelines and reporting requirements.

Strategic Partner Support: Serve as the daily operational claims contact for our strategic partners to resolve fleet incidents efficiently.

What We Are Looking For ?

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on claims handling experience in the U.S., specifically covering Auto Physical Damage, Property Damage, and Third-Party Liability.

ACV Expertise: A proven track record in total loss management and successfully negotiating/challenging Actual Cash Value (ACV) with adjusters or carriers.

Self-Insurance/TPA Expertise: Experience working within a self-insured program or closely managing a TPA relationship.

Collections/Subrogation: Strong experience in auto subrogation or recovering damage costs directly from individuals/renters.

GAP Insurance: Solid familiarity with GAP insurance claims processes.

Mindset: Highly autonomous and comfortable in a fast-paced, "hands-on" operational environment. You are a driven professional who takes ownership of results.

Preferred:

Experience in fleet management, carsharing, car rental, or mobility tech environments.

Active Adjuster License(s) in key US states.
