Senior Civil Engineer-Project Manager | Environmental and industrial plants

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and environmental design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time. Immediate need for a Senior Civil-Environmental Design Project Manager to lead and oversee civil and environmental engineering projects from conception through completion.

Client:
Based in Westchester County, our client offers integrated engineering, planning, design, construction, and operations services to public and private sector clients. Their multidisciplinary expertise includes environmental, education, structural, MEP, and energy services, supporting projects across institutional and corporate markets.

Description:
Immediate need for a Senior Civil-Environmental Design Project Manager to lead and oversee civil and environmental engineering projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and environmental design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project team in supervising design with a timely response.
• Develop and oversee all civil engineering drawings and specifications.
• Communicate with clients regarding technical aspects of project.
• Assist with site inspections.
• Create, execute, and revise project work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in design and project management
• Degreed Civil or Environmental Engineer
• PE License preferred. (Prefer a New York State license).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of NYS building codes and Ten States Standards.

Education:
BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required.
