Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare surveys, site plans, grading plans, utility plans, construction layout, and staking information. Design site civil, municipal, and transportation projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software. Prepare reports and permits for site civil, transportation, and municipal projects. Perform construction observation and field services as requested. Provide guidance to less-experienced staff and direct staff on project-specific tasks. Support proposal requests, contract preparation, project coordination, and project-management responsibilities. Assist with tracking project budgets. Communicate regularly with project teams, clients, peers, and agencies. Participate in limited client-management and marketing responsibilities as experience grows.What We're Looking For 4+ years of relevant civil engineering experience. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Passed FE exam or EIT registration preferred. Participation in a professional organization preferred. Hands-on AutoCAD Civil 3D experience supporting civil design projects. Ability to work independently while providing guidance to less-experienced staff. Strong communication skills for working with project teams, clients, peers, and agencies. Ability to provide overtime when needed to meet project deadlines. Ability to meet Lynch & Associates' automotive-insurability requirements for business driving.
