A senior construction professional with NYSDOT consultant inspection experience who can supervise field personnel, verify qualifications, monitor deliverables, and resolve performance problems before they reach the client.
responsibilities include:
- Before mobilization: Verify inspector qualifications, certification levels, relevant experience, project requirements, and client approval.
- During assignments: Review daily work reports, AWP entries, quantities, material acceptance records, and documentation completeness.
- Field oversight: Visit active projects, evaluate inspector performance, identify training needs, and resolve concerns with the EIC or RE.
- Corrective actions: Track client complaints, document deficiencies, provide coaching, and recommend reassignment when necessary.
- Contract compliance: Maintain a QA/QC plan consistent with ITE's contractual obligations and applicable NYSDOT procedures.
