The First Assist - Cardiac Surgery works under the direction and supervision of a licensed cardiothoracic surgeon during operative procedures. This role is responsible for providing direct intraoperative surgical assistance and participating in perioperative patient care within the cardiac surgery service line.
This position is open to Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), or Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) providers, with vein harvesting experience required.
