Opportunity Overview


Our Memory Test division develops world-class semiconductor memory test solutions and is seeking a Calibration and Diagnostics Engineer to join our engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge Automated Test Equipment (ATE), developing calibration, characterization, and diagnostic software for advanced instrumentation and system technologies.



+ Design and implementation of calibration and diagnostic software architectures.


+ Develop advanced calibration algorithms for precision measurement and instrumentation subsystems.


+ Drive characterization strategies for new hardware platforms and technologies.


+ Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, systems, manufacturing, and product engineering organizations.


+ Analyze large measurement datasets to identify trends, performance limitations, and optimization opportunities.


+ Root-cause investigations involving complex software and hardware interactions.


+ Develop scalable software frameworks supporting engineering, manufacturing, and customer diagnostics.


+ Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on critical projects.


+ Drive software quality, automation, and development best practices.


+ Influence product roadmap decisions through technical expertise and data-driven recommendations.

+ BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.


+ 8 or more years of relevant engineering experience.


+ Expert-level C++ software development skills.


+ Strong understanding of calibration methodologies, instrumentation, and measurement science.


+ Ability to analyze complex hardware/software interactions.


+ Experience working directly with hardware development teams.


+ Strong knowledge of debugging methodologies and data analysis techniques.






Preferred Qualifications






+ Semiconductor ATE experience.


+ Experience with precision measurement systems and high-speed digital instrumentation.


+ Knowledge of Signal Integrity concepts including eye diagrams and TDR analysis.


+ Experience with FPGA-based measurement systems.


+ Advanced statistical analysis skills.


+ Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $161,700 – 284,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.





Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
