Senior C#/.NET Application Developer Excel Add-ins & API Integration

Pay Rate: $80–$90/hour

We are seeking a Senior C++/C#/.NET Application Developer to support the modernization and enhancement of enterprise applications. This role will focus on upgrading legacy C++ and C# applications, developing and maintaining Excel Add-ins, and building reliable application integrations using modern technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C++, C#/.NET development, Excel integrations, API development, GitHub, Docker, and enterprise application architecture. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders to design technical solutions and deliver high-quality software enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, refactor, and modernize legacy C++ and C# applications using current .NET technologies.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Excel Add-ins (VSTO, COM Add-ins, Excel-DNA, or similar).
• Develop and integrate applications using RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and SOAP web services.
• Use GitHub for source control and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with C++ and C#/.NET development.
• Experience developing Excel Add-ins (VSTO, COM Add-ins, Excel-DNA, or similar).
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SOAP web services.
• Experience modernizing and supporting legacy C++ and C# applications.
• Experience using GitHub for source control and Docker for application containerization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enterprise application development experience.
• Experience with financial, trading, or data-driven applications.
• Experience with desktop application technologies and C++ modernization projects.
