We are seeking a Senior C#/.NET Application Developer to support the modernization and enhancement of enterprise applications. This role will focus on analyzing and upgrading legacy C++ and C# code, developing and maintaining Excel Add-ins, and building reliable application integrations using modern technologies.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C#/.NET development, Excel integrations, API development, and enterprise application architecture. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, refactor, and upgrade legacy applications built with C++ and C# into modern technology solutions.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Excel Add-ins and related application components.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Develop and integrate application components using RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and SOAP web services.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with C#/.NET development
- Experience developing Excel Add-ins (VSTO, COM Add-ins, Excel-DNA, or similar technologies)
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SOAP integrations
- Experience modernizing and supporting legacy applications
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
Preferred Background:
- Enterprise application development experience
- Experience with financial, trading, or data-driven applications
- Experience working with desktop application technologies and integrations
