A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced
Senior Software Engineer to join a front-office technology team supporting enterprise trading applications.
This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, enhance, and support business-critical applications used by investment professionals. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions supporting front-office operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong C#/.NET development expertise with experience working in Agile environments and a solid understanding of financial markets.
What You'll Tackle:- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise software applications using modern .NET technologies.
- Partner with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver new application features.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and application specifications.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate across technology and business teams to improve application performance and reliability.
- Support application lifecycle management, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise with:
- C#
- .NET
- Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience developing enterprise applications within Agile environments.
- Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting front-office, trading, or investment management applications.
- Understanding of financial products and capital markets.
- Experience supporting enterprise software throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- Experience supporting fixed income or capital markets technology.
- Knowledge of interest rate products, swaps, derivatives, or trading workflows.
- Experience working with investment management, trading, or risk management platforms.
- Financial services experience.
- Experience optimizing high-performance enterprise applications.
