About the Role:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C++ Back-End or Full Stack Developer to join client's dynamic team in Las Vegas. This role is ideal for a developer with deep expertise in C++ or similar languages, strong database application development, and a background in regulated industries such as gambling, credit/lending, or payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using C++ or similar high-performance languages.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver full stack solutions when needed.
- Architect and optimize complex database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL) for performance and
- reliability.
- Ensure compliance with gambling regulations and financial industry standards.
- Integrate secure payment gateways and credit/lending APIs.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full stack development.
- Proficiency in C++, with experience in other languages such as Java, C#, or Python a plus.
- Strong experience with database design and development (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL,
- MongoDB).
- Familiarity with gambling regulations (e.g., Nevada Gaming Control Board standards) or
- financial compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, KYC/AML).
- Experience with payment processing systems, credit/lending platforms, or fintech applications. Solid understanding of software architecture, security, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Experience developing with React and React Native.
- Previous work in a regulated industry or with government compliance requirements.
