Baptist Medical Center Southbank is currently hiring for a Full-time Sr. Buyer to join our Strategic Sourcing team at our Baptist Southbank Location here in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a Full-time, Days Shift opportunity.
Sr. Buyer General Responsibilities:
Manage system contracts pertaining to Capital Equipment purchases.
This includes, RFP development, and bid analysis, capital equipment purchases, service / maintenance agreements.
Bulk buy opportunities, system transition or conversion of capital equipment.
Specify equipment for construction projects based on Department needs and System standards.
Keeping system equipment specifications current
Manages equipment budget for projects, confirming spend aligns with budget.
Review Capital Requisitions to confirm purchases are the current system standards, contracted pricing, and requisitions completed correctly to flow through the ERP system.
Position requires extensive knowledge of procurement and contracting processes with demonstrated skills in the areas of communication, project management, and managing multiple priorities.
