Location
Hybrid opportunity based in Beverly, MA. This role requires regular on-site collaboration, with some flexibility to work remotely. Candidates open to relocating are encouraged to apply.
Note
Candidates must have a BSBA and 5+ years of manufacturing experience with meaningful purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supplier-management responsibilities. Experience with MRP or ERP systems is important for success in this role.

Job Description
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies for electro-mechanical products, components, and materials
- Manage supplier performance across quality, delivery, pricing, lead times, and corrective actions
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements to improve total landed cost
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, quantities, delivery dates, and supplier commitments
- Identify shortages and work proactively with suppliers and internal teams to protect production schedules
- Source and qualify alternative suppliers to reduce risk and strengthen supply continuity
- Analyze MRP and ERP requirements to support effective purchasing and inventory decisions
- Partner with engineering, quality, operations, and planning teams to resolve supplier and material issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing, cost reduction, inventory, and supplier performance
- Maintain purchasing practices that support applicable AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality requirements
- Work with domestic and international suppliers and support occasional travel when needed
Qualifications
- BSBA required
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Strong purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supplier-management experience
- Experience using MRP or ERP systems
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier-management skills
- Experience driving cost savings and process improvements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 preferred
- International sourcing or logistics experience preferred
- CPM or CPIM certification preferred
- Microsoft Dynamics AX experience helpful
