Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong Bio-Pharma and 340B experience to support business and technology initiatives within the Life Sciences domain. The candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, 340B SMEs, data teams, and technology teams to translate business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from Bio-Pharma and 340B stakeholders.
• Develop BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules.
• Support 340B processes including 340B pricing, eligibility, covered entities, contract pharmacies, claims, and compliance-related workflows.
• Analyze current-state and future-state processes, identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with technical teams on data mapping, data flows, system integrations, APIs, and business rules.
• Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks using SQL and other analytical tools.
• Support SIT/UAT, defect analysis, production validation, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, architects, QA, data engineers, compliance, finance, and business SMEs in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Maintain clear project documentation and ensure requirements are traceable throughout the SDLC.

Technical Skills

Skills Requirements:

• Required Skills:
• 8+ years of Business Analyst/BSA experience.
• Strong Bio-Pharma/Life Sciences experience with hands-on 340B domain knowledge.
• Strong documentation and requirements-management skills.
• Understanding of 340B processes and pharmaceutical data/workflows.
• Strong technical understanding of SQL, data analysis, data mapping, integrations, and data validation.
• Experience with SIT/UAT, Agile/Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Preferred: Experience with 340B platforms, pharmaceutical manufacturers, contract pharmacy programs, claims/pricing data, HRSA requirements, ETL/data platforms, APIs, and Power BI.
