Senior Business System Analyst - 3637199

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Systems Analyst position! This is a 6-18 month contract with potential-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead moderately complex to complex projects from proposal through post-implementation.
• Serve as the functional bridge between Product and Testing organizations for money movement functionality within mobile banking applications
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to capture and document detailed functional specifications, test plans, and test cases that ensure technology solutions align with business needs and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and serve as Test Coordinator for large initiatives involving multiple applications, managing test execution and ensuring quality standards are met
• Partner with cross-functional teams including developers, QA teams, and business units to ensure project deliverables meet established milestones, remain within scope, and adhere to corporate technology standards
• Serve as subject matter expert for assigned applications, advising on how enterprise-wide initiatives, acquisitions, or regulatory changes may impact existing systems and application functionality
• Participate in data mapping activities for system integrations, conversions, and acquisition-related projects to document how applications need to change or be enhanced
• Manage post-implementation activities by gathering feedback, resolving issues, and conducting project debriefs comparing actual vs. planned timelines and financials

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of business systems analysis with related experience in software development environments
• Banking or financial services industry experience with understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
• Proven experience with requirements management, test planning, UAT coordination, and implementation planning across moderately complex to complex projects
• Strong technical aptitude with demonstrated ability to understand application frameworks, system integrations, and how multiple applications interact within an enterprise ecosystem
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to effectively present to all levels of management and coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile environments with strong project coordination and risk management capabilities
• Detail-oriented and proactive approach with proven ability to multitask across multiple project components while meeting milestones and delivery dates

Pay Range: $45-49/hr
