The Global Partner GTM, Programs, & Operations (GPO) organization within GCPS brings together the go-to-market strategy, programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.

The Channel Commerce Strategy & Enablement team is looking for a Senior Business Program Manager - Channel Programs Readiness to drive adoption and operational readiness for strategic channel initiatives across Microsofts Partner ecosystem and internal Partner and Segment teams. This role serves as the bridge between program strategy and execution, ensuring partners and field segments are prepared to successfully implement new authorization requirements, partner program innovations, and commercial transformations.

As a subject matter expert for channel change management, this individual will develop and execute readiness strategies that accelerate adoption, reduce support and escalation volumes, improve partner experience, and enable faster delivery of future channel innovations. The role will work closely with multiple stakeholder organizations including business operations and marketing to ensure scalable and consistent execution across the partner ecosystem and field teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end readiness and change management planning for strategic channel initiatives, including partner authorization requirements, MAICPP innovations, and other commercial partner program transformations.
  • Develop and execute partner and segment readiness strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, enablement, and adoption plans.
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for Segment and Partner impacts of channel program changes, ensuring requirements, timelines, and expected outcomes are clearly understood.
  • Partner with Segment leaders, Partner-facing teams, and program owners to identify adoption risks, readiness gaps, and mitigation plans.
  • Monitor readiness effectiveness through adoption metrics, support trends, escalation analysis, and partner feedback, driving continuous improvement.
  • Design scalable readiness frameworks and repeatable change management practices that support ongoing channel innovation and transformation initiatives.
  • Coordinate across business, operations, support, and engineering stakeholders to ensure successful launch execution and sustained adoption.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in readiness, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, product marketing, field programs, or sales operations in a complex global organization
  • Knowledge of partner ecosystems, partner lifecycle management, and partner go-to-market execution.
  • Experience working with Microsoft commercial partner programs, CSP, authorization frameworks, or channel strategy.
  • Strong cross-functional skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Experience measuring and improving adoption outcomes through readiness and change management methodologies.
  • Experience developing executive communications, readiness plans, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
