    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Senior Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between Auto Sales IT, business units, and technology teams, leading the analysis, design, and implementation of business process improvements and technology solutions. This role drives the successful delivery of complex initiatives by defining business requirements, optimizing operational processes, supporting digital transformation, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology investments.


    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    Business Analysis & Requirements Management

    Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives.

    Define, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

    Develop business process models, use cases, user stories, workflow diagrams, and business rules.

    Facilitate requirements prioritization and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

    Ensure alignment of business needs with enterprise architecture and strategic goals.

    Business Process Optimization & Transformation

    Analyze current-state processes and identify efficiency improvement opportunities.

    Develop future-state process designs supporting operational excellence and digital transformation.

    Recommend process improvements that reduce costs, improve customer experience, and mitigate risk.

    Support continuous improvement initiatives across Auto Sales applications and business functions.

    Project Delivery Leadership

    Serve as lead business analyst on large, cross-functional projects and programs.

    Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

    Support Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

    Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, solution reviews, and release planning.

    Ensure business requirements are successfully translated into delivered solutions.

    Testing & Change Management

    Develop and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies and execution.

    Validate delivered functionality against approved business requirements.

    Support training development, change impact assessments, and business readiness activities.

    Assist in adoption planning and production deployments.

    Qualifications, Experience & Skills

    Minimum Experience

    8+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting large-scale business and technology initiatives.

    Experience working within automotive services is a plus.

    Experience supporting system modernization or digital transformation programs.

    Other Job-Specific Skills

    Advanced requirements elicitation and documentation skills.

    Strong business process modeling and workflow analysis skills...

    Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft 365 tools.

    Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

    Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

    Excellent facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    Knowledge of data analysis, reporting, APIs, cloud solutions, and systems integration preferred.

    Good understanding of Compliance and Audit requirements.
