Senior Business Analyst (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid - minimum 2 days onsite per week)

About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives involving SAP S/4HANA and related SAP applications. This is a high-impact role for an experienced business analyst who thrives in complex environments, partners effectively with stakeholders, and drives process improvement and solution design efforts across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops
Analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements
Develop business requirements, functional specifications, and technical specifications
Create current-state and future-state process maps and workflows
Evaluate and recommend business and technology solutions
Support testing activities, including UAT planning and execution
Lead process improvement and business transformation initiatives
Partner with executive and cross-functional stakeholders
Mentor and guide other Business Analysts as needed
Qualifications
7+ years of Business Analysis experience
Extensive experience supporting large, complex enterprise projects
Strong expertise with SAP S/4HANA
Experience with one or more of the following:
SAP Ariba
SAP Fieldglass
SAP SuccessFactors
Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements
Strong process mapping and business process re-engineering experience
Ability to facilitate stakeholder interviews and workshops
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
Must reside in the Portland metro area and be able to work onsite at least two days per week
Preferred Experience
Experience within regulated industries, utilities, energy, or large corporate environments
Background leading enterprise transformation initiatives
Ability to work independently while serving as the lead Business Analyst on strategic projects
Pay Details: $40.86 to $46.68 per hour
