    Description

    Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Clinical Supply Chain & Demand Planning for their San Francisco, CA/Foster City, CA/Hybrid location.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design Kinaxis Rapid Response demand and supply planning architectures that align with enterprise objectives and enable reliable end to end planning across global operations in a hybrid work environment.
    • Translate complex business requirements in demand planning and supply planning into scalable Kinaxis solution designs that improve planner productivity and decision making quality.
    • Configure Kinaxis demand planning capabilities to support consensus forecasting, statistical modeling and scenario analysis that improve forecast accuracy and service levels.
    • Configure Kinaxis supply planning capabilities to support constrained planning, allocation strategies and supply demand balancing that optimize capacity and inventory utilization.
    • Develop integrated planning models that connect demand signals, supply constraints and inventory policies to create a synchronized planning ecosystem across manufacturing and supply chain domains.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, planners and process owners to refine Kinaxis solution blueprints and ensure that every design choice drives measurable business value and operational resilience.
    • Guide technical teams on best practice usage of Kinaxis fundamentals including data modeling, workbooks, tasks and analytics to ensure robust, maintainable and high performance configurations.
    • Define data integration requirements and mapping rules so that planning data from upstream and downstream systems flows into Kinaxis with high quality and full traceability.
    • Establish governance for planning master data and configuration changes so that demand and supply planning behaviors remain consistent, auditable and aligned with compliance expectations.
    • Create detailed functional specifications, design documents and configuration guides that capture Kinaxis solution decisions and enable future enhancement and support.
    • Lead solution validation activities including scenario based testing, user acceptance walkthroughs and cutover readiness checks to ensure reliable deployment of planning capabilities.
    • Provide hypercare and ongoing optimization support after go live by monitoring planning outcomes, identifying improvement opportunities and refining Kinaxis configurations.
    • Mentor planners and super users in effective use of Kinaxis planning workspaces, what if analysis and dashboards so that they can respond quickly to market and supply disruptions.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that use Kinaxis analytics and planning insights to reduce waste, improve customer service and support more sustainable supply chain practices.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrate extensive hands on experience with Kinaxis demand planning capabilities including forecasting methods, demand review processes and scenario simulations applied in complex environments.
    • Apply deep expertise in Kinaxis supply planning to design plans that consider lead times, capacities, constraints and priorities across multi echelon manufacturing networks.
    • Show advanced proficiency in Kinaxis fundamentals covering data structures, calculation logic, workbooks, worksheets and collaboration features used in daily planning activities.
    • Exhibit strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning concepts to ensure that Kinaxis models reflect realistic shop floor and sourcing behaviors.
    • Display solid domain knowledge in end to end supply chain planning including demand sensing, inventory management, distribution planning and sales operations planning.
    • Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders using clear documentation and structured discussions that support informed planning decisions.
    • Manage complex planning initiatives with the discipline needed to coordinate requirements, design, configuration, testing and deployment across multiple teams and releases.
