Job Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst (Business Process Consultant Senior) plays a critical role in analyzing, designing, and improving business processes and systems for County agencies. This position involves gathering and documenting business requirements, developing system designs, facilitating testing, and providing technical consultation throughout project implementation. The role requires strong collaboration with business users, project managers, and developers to ensure effective integration and delivery of technology solutions, particularly in public safety environments.
Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of five years' experience in systems analysis, change management, project or program analysis.
- Experience in public safety implementations and post-production environments as a primary technical resource.
- Knowledge of planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer information systems.
- Strong skills in analyzing and evaluating business operations and administrative processes for automation.
- Ability to create precise and effective technical documentation including design documents, test plans, and scripts.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with clients and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding business process fluency and ability to engage with detailed process discussions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain professional relationships.
- Commitment to maintaining security and confidentiality of sensitive data.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience working for a government entity.
- Over five years' experience with Public Safety projects.
