The Senior Building Controls Design Engineer position is an exciting opportunity to join PM Group’s quickly growing Philadelphia area team out of Conshohocken, PA. Together are sharing knowledge, learning, growing, and continuing to be an integral part of supporting PM Group’s ongoing expansion in the US. Our office is executing cutting-edge projects for Pharmaceutical, Biologics and Cell & Gene Therapy, manufacturing facilities – from feasibility through to qualification – for both local and international clients. Together with our clients and partners, we will deliver projects that improve the everyday lives of people across the globe.
We are looking for a Senior Building Controls Design Engineer who enjoys client interaction as well as the technical aspects of the position. This individual understands the technical aspects of life science BMS/BAS design engineering including but not limited to designing, implementation, and leading of complex Building Automation & Management Systems, focusing on HVAC, lighting, and energy integration, involving technical leadership and advanced programming (BACnet, Modbus, etc.). The ability to successfully handle multiple real-time complex project and operational tasks as well as maintain a strong work ethic and drive to deliver for clients as a collaborative colleague are a must for this role. The Senior Building Controls Design Engineer will be mentored by department leadership and will assist with the development of design by defining system architecture, creating sequences of operation, managing project deliverables, and operating as a technical expert for Building Automation Systems. The Senior Building Controls Design Engineer will also be involved with the mentoring and development of less experienced engineering team members. Expect project work to include all levels of design: feasibility studies, conceptual & schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Project sizes will vary and will consist primarily of life science industry projects doing both existing building improvements and new construction.
