Description
Position Overview:
Develop and design complex reports using Power BI and SQL querying.
Work onsite four days a week for a government agency focused on child and family services.
Collaborate closely with social workers, system developers, and program staff to improve data quality and reporting processes.
Support data conversion from legacy systems to new platforms on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze data from multiple sources and identify validation processes.
Coordinate data governance and assist staff in implementing data management recommendations.
Gather and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Design robust data models and enhancements for reports using the CFSA 365Dynamics platform.
Write complex SQL joins and queries to establish data measures across tables.
Modify and develop reports; perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy and meet business needs.
Manage Azure Data Services including Synapse, Azure SQL Pool, and Data Lake.
Oversee report deployment in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
11+ years of hands-on report development and SQL query experience.
11+ years of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience.
11-15 years of MS Office/PowerPoint experience.
4+ years of experience developing complex reports using Power BI.
2+ years of experience with Azure Data Services.
2+ years experience working in an Agile process environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (native or bilingual proficiency).
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on PL/SQL experience.
2+ years of experience with cloud-based Business Intelligence solutions.
