Job Title: Senior Backend Spring Boot Microservices Developer / Lead

Rate: $50 to $55/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Backend Spring Boot Microservices Developer / Lead to design, build, modernize, and operate enterprise-grade backend platforms. The role combines deep Java and Spring Boot engineering expertise with technical leadership across microservices, REST APIs, event-driven integration, cloud-native deployment, security, observability, and production reliability. The successful candidate will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, guide engineering teams, and own delivery from architecture through production support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial hands-on development of enterprise Java applications.
• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8-21, object-oriented design, collections, exception handling, multithreading, concurrency, JVM behavior, and performance Eligible to workimization.
• Advanced experience with Spring Boot, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, and dependency injection.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, domain-driven decomposition, distributed-system patterns, API gateways, resilience, idempotency, caching, retries, and fault tolerance.
