    Job Description:
    Seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with expertise in industrial refrigeration, CO cold room systems, and automation within a GMP-regulated environment. This role will lead the design, commissioning, qualification, validation, startup, and operation of automated cold storage and refrigeration systems supporting manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse operations.
     
    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead design and implementation of CO cold room and refrigeration systems.
    • Support commissioning, qualification, validation (CQV), and startup activities.
    • Oversee automation, controls, and software systems for cold room operations.
    • Ensure compliance with cGMP, GxP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
    • Partner with Quality, CSV, IT/OT, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and vendors.
    • Drive operational readiness, training, system integration, and continuous improvement.
    • Serve as SME for cold room automation, refrigeration, and cold chain operations.
     
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
    • 10+ years of industrial refrigeration and cold room design experience.
    • 5+ years of hands-on CO cold room design and operations experience.
    • Experience with automation systems, controls, and industrial system integration.
    • Strong knowledge of cGMP, validation, and CQV processes.
    • Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
    • 3+ years of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience
