Senior Automation Engineer

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to understand requirements, create test scenarios, and support Agile delivery.

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer for their Irvine, CA location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to understand requirements, create test scenarios, and support Agile delivery.
• Execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites; analyze results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows to enable continuous testing.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation assets, improve framework efficiency, and ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.
• Track and report metrics, test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness to support successful project delivery.
