Position Summary Our company is seeking a
Senior Auto Adjuster – Non-Injury to manage complex auto claims end-to-end, ensuring compliance with state regulations while delivering best-in-class customer service through clear communication, sound judgment, and empathy.
Key Responsibilities- Handle highly complex non-injury auto claims, including coverage analysis, liability determination, physical damage, and total loss settlements.
- Conduct detailed investigations (police reports, statements, loss history) and evaluate claims in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Negotiate settlements within authority limits, including comparative negligence and storage charges.
- Identify coverage issues and initiate SIU referrals when needed.
- Document investigations, evaluations, and settlement decisions accurately.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive timely resolutions.
- Support CAT response operations, including on-call duties and potential travel as required.
Required Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
- At least 2 years handling low to moderately complex non-injury auto liability claims.
- Active Adjuster's License (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- Strong knowledge of auto liability coverage, state laws, and claims handling processes.
- Proven skills in investigation, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with multi-vehicle and comparative negligence claims.
- Guidewire Claims Center experience.
- Exposure to arbitration, subrogation, and coverage interpretation.
