Shape the financial futures of those who built something extraordinary.

This is a rare seat inside a nationally recognized firm where private wealth strategy meets the complexity of real transactions — liquidity events, generational legacies, and the families navigating both.

5+ yrs experience | Estate & Tax Planning | Hybrid Flexibility | J.D. Required

You won't be doing surface-level work here. The firm's private wealth practice is deeply integrated with its corporate and transactional teams — which means you'll regularly advise on the estate planning implications of M&A deals, founder liquidity events, and IPOs. It's the kind of sophisticated, multi-dimensional work that's hard to find.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Crafting advanced estate, gift, and GST tax strategies for high-net-worth individuals and family enterprises
  • Guiding fiduciaries, trustees, and family offices through governance, administration, and risk decisions
  • Advising founders and executives on wealth transfer planning tied to major corporate transactions
  • Drafting sophisticated trust instruments, estate planning documents, and related structures
  • Building financial and tax projections that support complex wealth transfer planning

What We're Looking For

The essentials:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
  • Active U.S. bar admission, or eligibility to obtain admission in a relevant jurisdiction
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in estate planning, trust administration, and tax strategy
  • Strong drafting instincts and the ability to manage complex matters with confidence

Nice to have:

LL.M. in Taxation, Estate Planning, or a related discipline

Experience advising founders or executives on M&A, IPO, or liquidity event planning

Familiarity with closely held businesses and family partnership structures

Business development experience or portable relationships — welcomed but not required

Why This Role

Compensation: Competitive salary and bonus structure that reflects the caliber of work you'll be doing

Benefits: Comprehensive premium healthcare and benefits package

Flexibility: Hybrid work schedule — structure your week in a way that works for you

Clientele: Work directly with founders, executives, and multi-generational family enterprises at pivotal moments

Growth: A genuinely collaborative culture where your professional development is a shared priority

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance
